SAP Utility day

GD-TEAM was the general partner of the SAP Infoday for Utility in Bratislava

Our company  gd-Team has been a proud co-organizer of a prestigious private SAP Infoday for Utility conference aimed to present the latest SAP solutions in the area of the utility industry. Representatives of nearly all utility companies on the Slovak market, e.g. Východoslovenská energetika a.s., Západoslovenská distribučná a.s., SPP a.s., Bratislavská vodárenská spoločnosť a.s., Slovenské elektrárne a.s. a Stredoslovenská energetika a.s., have attended the five captivating presentations.
Representatives of the company SAP AG and SAP Slovakia have introduced us to new trends in SAP Cloud solutions as well as progress in development of functionalities of S/4HANA solutions. At the same time, achievements of clients in utilities worldwide have been presented that have been aided by new SAP solution implementations which have helped to face many challenges in current markets such as non-commodity products, Up-sell and Cross-sell, marketing campaigns, real time reporting, etc.

Among hot products the SAP CPQ solution in connection with Subscription billing was presented enabling highly flexible reaction to clients´ needs in the process of creation of up-to date and modern products and product packages.
SAP Experience Management and its use for Utilities is number one among the solutions of this kind on the market and is used to get feedback in all areas of everyday life either from customers, partners, suppliers or even from personnel.

Another one of solutions aimed at positive customer experience and satisfaction is SAP Field Service Management, that enables companies to manage and plan very efficiently not only service activities, but personnel or suppliers delivering such activities as well. The result of proper management in this area is not only a satisfied customer but also a cost-effective company.

To support effective functioning of utility (or even other) companies, the SAP company has also solutions focused on intelligent process automation – SAP Intelligent RPA and SAP Intelligent BPM. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) focuses at use of either fully or partially autonomous bots to automatise processes (mostly manual and long-lasting ones). On the other hand Business Process Management (BPM) is focused on creation of a continuous business process and helps the user to focus on decisions. And of course, the most ideal cases have been shown where these two solutions interconnect and complement each other.

New trends change the world and the SAP company is making progress in this area very rapidly, therefore even today we look forward to further interesting conferences.
