GD-TEAM has already obtained its fourth ISO standard certification, this time for mastering the environmental management system under the name ‘ISO 14001‘. The standard helps organizations improve their environmental impact, use resources efficiently and reduce waste generated by the company.
Erik Gottschall, CEO of GD-TEAM: “Our vision is to create a world where man, nature and technology naturally complement each other and work together. In business, we are not only responsible to our business partners and colleagues, but we also feel an increasing responsibility to the wider community and the environment. As mankind, we are increasingly confronted with the extreme impacts of climate change on our environment and lives. By implementing processes according to the 14001 standard, our company is also moving to a higher level of environmental behaviour, and I am convinced that thanks to the application of this standard, we will be able to become carbon neutral as soon as possible and thus contribute to the European Green Deal.“
The ISO 14001 standard is suitable for all types of organizations and monitors the environmental burden associated with operation, air pollution, waste management and resource efficiency. It is a commitment that includes the need for continuous improvement of the organization’s systems and an approach to environmental issues.
