The Pezinok Grape Harvest Festival

The Pezinok Grape Harvest Festival was held for the first time as early as in the 13th century. Later, at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the Grape Harvest Festival was celebrated only in cosy cellars. In 1934 the Town Council in Pezinok decided to renew the Pezinok Grape Harvest Festival. The idea of this event is to pay tribute to the nature and people working in severe conditions so that we can enjoy a glass of wine, must or burčiak (grape cider). It is a return to traditions and to what is truly essential. We can see with our own eyes the skills of chefs and craftsmen and also a festive allegorical procession, where cultural and historical associations and clubs from the town and also from the entire Little Carpathians region, are presented. In 2019 gd-Team was also one of the advertising partners, as a support from the region.
