The Bagarova chata civic association is one of the projects that give priority to bringing people closer to nature, which is also one of the main objectives of GD-TEAM. Therefore, thanks to the vote of colleagues, the company decided to support this civic association, which offers a variety of activities and educational opportunities for children and families in the beautiful environment of the Mala Fatra Mountains, while its primary goal is to create an educational, sporting and recreational area in the Turiec Region. Together with its primary goal, the civic association wants to make the hut and its surroundings accessible to sports clubs, hikers, cyclists, cross-country skiers in winter and year-round to schools, kindergartens and families with children. As a result of the effort, a space for children and all sorts of people will be created, and all attractions will be made available free of charge.
The civic association has already created a children‘s interactive nature trail, located in a pleasant forest area. Children can also verify the information they have acquired on the spot in nature, and the trail is made up of elements found in the surrounding countryside, all guided along the trail by Eliska the Fox. The Fox will tell them and show many interesting facts about the nature around us. Children get information about nature in a playful, experiential way, not through lengthy texts. They can touch and try everything. The civic association also has other activities and organises various activities for children, such as a Falcon Vrútky sports day or a nature day for kindergartens. Children can use the playground for ball games, children‘s ropeway, swings, slides, trampoline, but most of all enjoy being in nature.
