We Have Become Part of Handball in Šaľa

Handball has a long and rich history in Šaľa. The HKM Slovan Šaľa  Sports Club is a handball sports club founded as a civil association in 2008. Its entire effort is focused on systematically creating conditions for children and youth to practice sports from an early age. All age categories of youth are represented in regional and national competitions. With the teams of children and youth, the HKM Slovan Šaľa Club regularly participates in competitions, and tournaments, and annually organizes summer sports camps and teambuilding events with the active participation of parents. The club can also boast of its results. In the 2022/2023 season, the team of older adolescents became the winner of the 2nd combined league of younger and older adolescents organized by the  Slovak Handball Federation, and the team of younger pupils took 3rd place in the regional competition of the Trnava region. In the internal voting of colleagues, within the project „Project Sponsorship“, the HKM Slovan Šaľa received the most votes and thus financial support for the development of handball in youth categories. We believe that this financial donation will also help young talented handball players to take Slovakia to international events.
