GD-TEAM also assisted children with special needs

Social responsibility is an essential topic in the business world today. GD-TEAM is committed to corporate responsibility and therefore supports the projects of its employees regularly. One such project is from Trenčín, which provides care and education for children with special needs. The Mole Centre is dedicated to professional care and comprehensive development of children with all kinds of special needs, including mental, physical, cognitive and social. The centre is based on the individual needs of each child. It uses innovative educational methods to directly participate in the development of those who need it most. Educational activities are designed to support a child’s development and help them reach their potential. The Education Centre also supports children’s education in community settings. Children are encouraged to participate in physical, cultural and social activities to improve their abilities and skills. Mole also works with children with special disabilities or at risk of development.

Diana Gerbocová, director and founder of the Krtko Education Centre: “All our children are a great gift to us. We learn with them and develop what is in them. They teach us sensitivity and are a great enrichment of our work. Working with children and young people is our mission, and it gives us pleasure at the same time. We also choose to spend our free time helping these groups. Although our centre is still a small island, we believe it can bring great things. The Mole Centre is of great importance because I know the problems and needs from my own experience. It is a special-needs workplace where I can realise myself and bring joy to all who visit. As they say in our centre: “When friends come together, great things happen … And for everyone”.
