Gastronomy a Little Differently

As part of the support of our colleagues’ projects, we also received a bit unusual request from our colleague Ján Žbirka. To support the festival of an interesting gastronomic club of “homebrewers”, mostly drinks composed of malt, hops and water. But it was not only beer that dominated the event in Nová Cvernovka, where it was possible to taste, among other things, products that ferment and undergo fermentation. For example, fermented sausages were served with sourdough bread, cheese aged in the rind for more than 3 years, various types of soy sauces and miso pastes were on offer, as well as beer brewed from whey. In voting for projects, the support of the first Slovak meeting of fermentation enthusiasts, under the name Hrncovar, received the most votes, and so GD-TEAM became the official partner of the festival, in which not only the best home-brewed beer was competed for but also the best home-brewed beer. One of the successful ones was Janko Žbirka, whose beers have already won several first places at similar, also foreign competitions in the past.
