Corporate social responsibility (CSR – Corporate social responsibility) is a term than has been known for several decades. It refers to companies whose economic profitability is closely linked to personnel development, environmental protection and fair relations in the business environment. It reflects the relationship of business to the environment in which it is located and supports its growth.
Although this is not a necessary condition, GD-TEAM has for years supported projects not only of its employees, thus contributing to the improvement of life in various areas. Among long-term projects we can mention the School Basketball League or the Police Sports Swimming Club Pezinok. Among employee projects, we cannot omit, for example, the support of figure skating, handball, football, floorball and riding talents. But we do not overlook those who need it most. The ESBA project supporting autistic children, the Slovak para-swimmer Tatiana Blattnerová and the Civic Association Svetielko nádeje received contributions for their activities.
GD-TEAM is also significantly involved in the field of environmental protection, not only thanks to strict waste sorting, the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products, or increasing demands on the use of electronic archiving. GD-TEAM became the holder of the ISO 14001 (Environmental management) certificate in 2021. For the future the company has set a really high goal, to be carbon-neutral at both the companies.
However, the most important component of an active CSR trefoil is a fair relationship with the business environment and a fair approach to the services provided and their pricing. This is shown by satisfied long-term clients not only from Slovakia, but also such large European giants as TÜV SÜD.
On the basis of previous activities, achieving balance with nature, employees and the business environment will be a priority for our company in the future.
